I like President Bush's conservative views on homosexuality (I personally am against the Federal Government defining the term marriage, states should decide) and abortion (I believe it to be murder); but besides that, I cant see him as a very good President.

As a Constitutionalist Libertarian, I consider Bush and the GOP the lesser evil, not the better party. It should be painfully obvious by now that neither Damnocrat nor Republican't will address the problems that need to be addressed. ( For what it is worth I voted Badnarik in 2004. If faced with a foul choice like between Hillary ( NeoCommie) Clinton and John ( I can be bought for $300,000...ask Charles Keating!) I will vote libertarian again.) Also if it helps, at least Bush steers a unified course; Kerry would have been far worse.

Dont get me wrong, Kerry would have been an extremely poor Presidential choice and during the 2000 and 2004 elections, I voted for Bush, as I quote my friend here for choosing the "lesser evil."
However, I dont approve of his positions of many things.

I was too young to vote in 2004, but if I was allowed to vote, I would've voted for President Bush. I don't support Bush entirely, but I support his honest, blunt behavior. It was what I found attractive about him in the first place. The way he stumbled during his public speaking may have been very unprofessional, but most Americans aren't professional anyhow, so what? He's more of an American, from what I saw, than Kerry ever looked to be. (Kerry also looked fake).

The things that I don't like about him is that he doesn't explain things, like the Iraq war, good enough for the people to understand, so the media tells people about how they think it is hopeless. Also, he doesn't say 'no' about enough things (He has only used his veto power twice).

Well, he'll be using his veto power a lot more often now that the democrats are in control of Congress.

True, Winiki or when he does explain he doesnt do it very well.
But yes, I must agree with my friend here, he shall be using his veto powers alot more, since the Democrats are in control of Congress, hopefully, they will be able to work together for America.
